Whether Arcade Festivals or Pinot Noir Days - Egna entertains you.

The Pinot Noir Days dominate the south of South Tyrol in May. Egna has been the home of this grape variety since the 19th century. As key growing area of this type of grape, Egna is also known as “Pinot Noir Heaven“. To find out what this fine wine really tastes like, you best visit the event yourself.

“Wine & Arcades“ is the name of a Egna summer event which is dedicated to the region’s quality wines. Around 50 excellent vineyards present themselves at this occasion in the historic arcades of Egna Delicacies prepared by various top chefs are also served.

South Tyrol’s oldest village fête is always staged in August. The Arcade Festival – celebrated in the picturesque arcades of Egna – treats its visitors to culinary delights, three big stages with live performances, music in the courtyards and of course to the finest wines.

The South Tyrolean Bassa Atesina turns into one big theatre stage in September when a special theatre festival takes place. Aim is to present the audience with plays by authors of universal literature in terms of a distinct, contemporary and independent South Tyrolean (popular) theatre at an immediate crossroad of two languages and cultures.
